The National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations met for the second day of its 17th annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference in Washington. Policymakers, journalists, and scolars discussed what challenges and opportunities will be met as the White House transitions to a new administration.

Policymakers met in an all-day conference on Arab-U.S. relations. Speakers included Nat'l Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft, UAE Minister of Economy HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, and ConocoPhillips Exploration & Production Pres. Ryan Lance. Panelists discussed the political & economic climate in the Middle East.

Dr. Rachel Bronson, Council on Foreign Relations Fellow and author of "Thicker Than Oil," participates in a discussion on Saudi Arabian-U.S. relations. The panel, looking at regional strategic issues, is part of the 15th Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference, sponsored by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
