C-SPAN saved my marriage! Well, not quite. But my wife and I now communicate much better, and not only because we enjoy discussing issues raised on C-SPAN. The biggest recurring argument my wife and I used to have was about what to call her. She wanted me either to use her name or some mutually agreed-upon nickname. Sparse with words, I saw no need when we were alone to preface my remarks to her with any label. While watching C-SPAN together one Friday morning about five years ago, she mentioned that even Brian appropriately identifies his callers. At that moment, my wife and I looked at each other and knew that our �problem� had been resolved. My lovely wife (Charleston, South Carolina) and I thank you for helping us to find the perfect nickname for her.

P.S. Charleston�s nickname for me is the last four digits of my social security number (but she calls me �3� for short).
