GM & Chrysler Defend Cutting Dealerships

In written statements submitted to the Senate Commerce Cmte., Executives from GM and Chrysler are defending their decision to cut dealerships, the AP reports. GM Chief Exec. Fritz Henderson and Chrysler Pres. James Press will tell the Cmte. that there were too many dealers working within an outdated distribution system.
