Senate Appropriations Hearing On War Supplemental

The Senate Appropriations Cmte. held a hearing with Defense Sec. Robert Gates & Sec. of State Hillary Clinton to discuss Pres. Obama’s $83.4 billion war funding request. Senators hope to hold a mark-up for the FY 2009 War Supplemental draft bill by the begining of May.
